Absolutely not. All file processing happens entirely on your device. Your photos, PDFs, and documents never leave your phone. We don't have servers to upload to — everything is 100% on-device.
Pdflex supports JPG, PNG, HEIC images for conversion to PDF. For merging and splitting, all standard PDF files are supported. You can also use the camera to capture documents directly.
Please try these steps:
1. Force close the app and reopen it.
2. Make sure your iOS is updated to the latest version.
3. Delete and reinstall the app from the App Store.

The PDF quality depends on the original image resolution. For best results, use high-resolution photos. Images taken with your iPhone camera typically produce excellent PDF quality. Screenshots or heavily compressed images may appear lower quality.
There is no artificial limit on the number of files you can merge. However, very large PDFs (hundreds of pages) may take longer to process depending on your device's available memory. For optimal performance, we recommend merging in batches if working with extremely large files.
Yes! All PDF tools work completely offline. You don't need an internet connection to convert, merge, split, or scan documents. The only feature that requires internet is displaying advertisements.
We're working on a premium version that will remove all advertisements. Stay tuned for updates! In the meantime, ads help us keep the app free and continuously improved.
Photo Library access is needed to select images for PDF conversion. Camera access is needed for the document scanning feature. These permissions are only used when you actively choose to use these features. We never access your photos or camera in the background.

Restart the App
Swipe up to close Pdflex completely, then reopen. This resolves most temporary issues.

Free Up Storage
Large PDF operations need free space. Check Settings → General → iPhone Storage.
